Allow Me to Introduce My Self...

My name is Whitney Ray for those that know me " Hey" and for those that don't "Hey"...lol...im a sassy, fun girl who knows exactly what she wants out of life. I love to LAUGH, have FUN, and make the most of my time here on Earth. My story is in depth and has yet to be published until today. I live the life of a young Women living in New york City trying to make her way through the ever evolving Music industry. At times I'm sad at times i cry but through it all i manage to keep it Moving because in the words of a great friend of mine "Good things come to those who wait...but only the things left behind by those who HUSTLED!"

I am a Singer...

So how do i say this..hmm...ive been singing since i could remember literally...i have the tapes to prove it ha ha. Music to me is the therapy that every one could use a lot of. It not only helps you remember past experiences but it helps you get through every day life. Music is fun its strong it's loving and has such a major influence in the lives of so many ( Real Talk in my country voice). I believe that is the reason why i love doing what i do. As a singer I'm able to express my self in ways i never thought i could. All in All I'm an unsigned artist hunting down my opportunity but don't get to disappointed by that because i am well on my way. WINK* WINK*

I am a Song Writer...

One of the many reasons i decided to write my own blog is because i have a passion for writing. Music is where it began and who knows where it will end. The funniest thing is when i was younger i use to always write poetry. I would amaze people with some of my poetry i shared, but one day i woke up and said "i want to write Music" but that day i failed. The songs i came up with were crazy!! I was 11 years old talking bout he loved me and by the end of the song he was my brother LOL. It wasn't until i sat back and let it flow that my true talents shined. I discovered that writing was a way for me to be creative on another level. From then on the rest was history.
